About

I believe that healing mechanisms behind successful therapy are tied to processes of establishing new relationships with our thoughts and feelings. I support young people who are aiming to learn new ways of accepting complex emotions, reducing emotional distress, improving emotional regulation, and increasing meaning in their lives by learning to use effective coping skills to develop independence and accomplish their life goals.

Fostering a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients is a fundamental component of my practice. I strive to create a secure base in my therapeutic relationships that allows for collaboration, while promoting a balance of acceptance and change in each client’s individual journey. I am also available to offer therapy for family members who are supporting loved ones struggling with mental health and substance use issues.
